About Me

I want to get to know more about you before we work together, so I figure you may want to know a bit about me too!

Here’s some info to help “pre-introduce” myself here and see if we’d make a great team

One of the things I enjoy most about photography is the way it allows me to connect with people. I love meeting new individuals and learning their unique stories. Each project I have the honor of capturing is an opportunity to collaborate, to bring out the best in my subjects, and to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

One of the biggest compliments I can receive from someone is for them to continue giving me the honor of stepping into a season of their life to capture it together… That means so much to me!

Hi there, I’m Jackie! You can find me behind the lens and rooting for you in all of life’s milestones that I’m honored to capture.

My photography style is rooted from my passion for documentary-styled approaches to capturing an image, in order to let a moment naturally unfold without interference, and capturing it artfully for its true beauty.

  • Jackie is a pleasure to work with and always catches the moment you’re looking for. I’ve worked with her on some of the most important milestones in mine and my family’s life. Would recommend her to everyone!

  • Though it was my first time shooting with her, when she arrived it was like connecting with a longtime friend. She was excited for the big day, made sure each shot captured the essence of the moment, and as a result her pictures came out authentically phenomenal.

  • Jackie has been our photographer for 7 years and every session has exceeded expectations. She captures emotion, beauty, and elegance extremely well. She goes above and beyond to make clients feel comfortable in front of the camera to get the perfect shot. Highly recommend her!

  • Absolute pleasure to work with Jackie! Not only was she so kind and easy to connect with but the photos she took speak for themselves!

BEHIND THE LENS

BEHIND THE LENS

Fun fact: Even as a photographer and being able to give gentle direction and guidance for anyone on the other side of the camera, it STILL feels personally a little awkward when I’m in front of the lens too, so I get it, and I will always do my very best in making my camera’s subject’s feel comfortable so their true essence can shine through and a memory can be made authentically.

That’s why I am always mindful to help any and everyone feel at ease so they can be themselves in front of my lens!

Alright, that’s more than enough about me. I want to get to know about you!

Tell me a little bit about yourself, if you will, maybe your love story or your creative vision, and we can discuss a plan of action. Telling your story through the lens is what I love to do, and I would happy to be of service!

Photo by from mine and my husband’s wedding day in Broken Bow, OK

A little insider info:

My husband James and I got married in on 4/3/21, and have two adorable rescue dogs, Mila and Scruffy. We love going to concerts, exploring new restaurants and small businesses around our neighborhood, and running to the woods to grill and chill when we can!

I knew I had a this lifelong passion from an early age, but being from a small town and not knowing all of the possibilities out there, I only learned through trial and error that I could ever make my passion an actual business and fulfilling career.

What a gift it is to get to follow what is in my heart to serve others by capturing their story.

Photography has given me an incredible sense of fulfillment, allowing me to express my creativity and share my perspective with the world. I strive to capture the fleeting moments that make life extraordinary, and bring joy and inspiration to those who view my work.

Before college, I was honored to be accepted in the nationally-acclaimed, arts-magnet school, Booker T. Washington High School for Performing and Visual Arts. Although I do have a degree in Journalism and minored in Photography, I do think what I’ve learned outside of the classroom has been the most impactful.

I’m so incredibly thankful to have met so many genuine, kind-spirited people that let me capture their lives and witness their triumphs, and I will always cherish capturing those special times, both big and small. My goal is to capture memories that generations after us will hold onto as a keepsake of what to remember us by.
